First Steps

This is my first post on a blog, so it feels like I am dipping my toes in the water rather tentatively. I am a great believer in the "feel the fear but do it anyway" school of thought, and at various times in my life have delighted in shocking myself and others with my risk-taking ability, before once again retreating into a safe and steady approach to the world.
